Redhill Games was founded in October 2018 with HQ in Helsinki (Finland) and the south office in Nicosia (Cyprus) by four co-founders who used to work together in the past and decided to make a dream game studio. Now, in October 2022, there are 65 employees, and the company is growing rapidly.
Games We Make
We make shooters for PC and console platforms. You can check our life game “Nine to Five” on Steam. There are other projects but we cannot talk about them just yet.
Onboarding Process for Newcomers
Most of the employees are office based. But if not, then for the first week, remote newcomers are invited to the office where their lead and team are based for a company intro, office tour, and lunch with colleagues. For everyone, onboarding includes a virtual coffee meeting, introduction to the project, series of playing games and learning the ropes by doing the work.

At Redhill Games you do not feel like a cog in the machine whose job is meaningless and not so significant. As the company is still relatively young, there’s not always a process for everything, so sometimes, a bit of improvisation is needed to get everything done. On the other hand, this also means that it’s possible to affect how things are done. As plans do change when developing games, one needs to be flexible and adaptable to different tasks and challenges. The company is international and diverse, but it’d be nice to see more women working at Redhill Games.
