Women in video games still have it harder than men. We need to fight for the respect that men obtain just by showing up. Even after years in the industry. During one job interview this year I was almost discarded because being a nice and smiling woman, the CEO thought I would not be able to connect with the usual game geeks working in the industry. He didn’t care that I have been working as a successful producer for 10 years, gender was all he saw.

Hello! 🙂 My sad story is that I can’t find a stable job to avoid the stress of meeting new people. Because for introverts, this is a very sensitive thing 🙂 And the funny story is that for my age, I still love games, and it can never be boring to me, I always wanted to create a game together with my friend. Maybe we’ll be able to do it someday…

Sometimes I feel that being the only woman working at my previous studio was challenging. It seemed like they didn’t truly value my suggestions or opinions on designs and other matters. They proceeded to implement incorrect elements in the UI design, and sometimes they didn’t even use the design I had created. It was frustrating. However, I’m glad I decided to quit sooner!
